About
Helping Hand Coalition is a network of international humanitarian organizations addressing the needs of the modern state and people of Israel.
Since 2005, Helping Hand Coalition (represented in Israel by the Helping Hand Foundation) has provided continuous aid to nearly 80,000 victims of the Holocaust in over 70 cities throughout the country. The Coalition distributes food, clothing and financial grants; and coordinates social events bringing joy to Israel’s Holocaust survivors. The Coalition also provides much needed relief to victims of terror attacks, natural disasters and war.
HHC Exists to
Cooperate with international charitable organizations, and come alongside the Israeli government in providing much needed comfort and support to Israel’s most needy and destitute, with special attention to impoverished Holocaust Survivors.
Lobby for and provide a voice to victims of war and terror at both the National and International levels.
Harness the power of the Internet and global news media in order to bring modern Israel to the world, and fight worldwide Holocaust denial and anti-Semitism.
Our Projects
GOODS DISTRIBUTIONS
We distribute large quantities of different goods to those in need all over Israel, everything from blankets to food, from walkers to sneakers. We both distribute goods to individuals that we know have specific needs as well as set larger distributions with our partners for underprivileged communities.
SHALOM HOUSES
We hold and support weekly club meetings in over 70 different cities in Israel where Survivors of the Holocaust can gather, laugh, sing and eat. There is often dancing and telling of stories. These are times when they can build community and friendships with us and with each other!
MEDICAL SUPPORT
We connect, facilitate and distribute with our partners various medical devices such as medical bands for the elderly, which provide vital information to medical professionals in times of emergency, and eye glasses for both reading and distance.
EVENTS
We celebrate life with Survivors of the Holocaust!! What better way to remember the beauty of survival than by living life well! And to that end we host a number of different events including holding large dinners, anniversaries of organizations and even dances. We also have been able to have Bar Mitzvahs for many survivors who were not able have one because of the War.
NEW IMMIGRANTS
Israel is a nation of immigrants and will continue to be so. There are always new people looking to get a start here and may struggle with the language, with poverty, or just getting acclimated. As such, we support programs that have helped new immigrants from diverse areas ranging from Ukraine to Ethiopia with goods and various support.
HANDICAPPED
While spending so much time in the homes of holocaust survivors, we could not help but notice their neighbors. We have seen a huge need in the handicapped community that needs attention. We have already begun giving financial support to some, but the more we look, the more we find. There is huge need here. We look forward expanding more support to those in very dire situations and finding new ways to improve their lives.

Our vision is to see to it that those who were born into the death and terror of the holocaust, may pass away from this earth in love.
